The method for projecting the axis using a laser plumb bob is as follows (). A: Place a laser plumb bob at the axis control point on the first floor; use the laser beam emitted from the bottom end of the laser (the total reflection prism end) for alignment. Adjust the leveling screw of the base so that the bubble in the tube level is perfectly centered. B: Place a receiving target at the pre-drilled hole in the upper construction floor. C: Turn on the laser power supply to activate the laser and emit a vertical laser beam; adjust the focusing of the transmitting telescope so that the laser beam converges into a bright red spot, which is then projected onto the receiving target. D: Move the receiving target until its center coincides with the red spot; fix the target in place and make marks around the pre-drilled hole. At this point, the position of the target’s center represents the projection point of the axis control point on that floor. E: Take readings. Answer: ABCD

Fix the target in place and make marks around the hole; at this point, the position of the target’s center represents the projected location of the axis control point on that floor
