What is the approximate cost per ton of water per year for treating circulating water using conventional chemical methods?
The cost for circulating water treatment depends on the actual operating conditions of the system; the better the control over the system’s concentration ratio, the lower the cost will be (under normal circumstances). The cost is also related to the quality of service provided by the water treatment company – you get what you pay for. Our current cost is 0.005002 yuan per ton. The water quality stabilizer market is a mixed bag. Many manufacturers are of small scale. It might just be a large yard with a workshop inside. Several reaction vessels. There is a warehouse. I visited two of them, and I thought they didn’t seem very upscale. The instruments in the laboratory just give a sense of frustration. There’s not even equipment for producing softened water, yet they sell scale inhibitors for reverse osmosis membranes in addition to water quality stabilizers – it’s unbelievable.
