As shown in the diagram, a herringbone-shaped ramp 100 meters high needs to be added on the concrete pavement. The initial idea is to dig 100 meters deep into the ground and then pour concrete over that area without using any rebar, creating a structure that resembles a roof; however, it’s not clear whether this approach will be strong enough. Does anyone with experience in civil engineering have any comments?

Concrete is resistant to compressive forces but not to bending forces; it is likely to crack without rebar. Some time ago, our company also constructed a similar slope, using rebar cages for support.
