The RO membrane is slightly clogged, possibly due to a lack of cleaning over an extended period of time. In this case, rinse the RO membrane first; if that doesn’t work, the RO membrane should be replaced promptly. First: The filter element of the pre-treatment system needs to be replaced. If the previous filter elements are all clogged, then no water will flow in, and consequently no water will be discharged from the later sections. Solution: Replace the filter element. Second: The RO membrane gets clogged. Over time, as it is used, the RO membrane gradually becomes clogged, resulting in a decreasing water production volume; generally, it needs to be replaced every year or so. During operation, ultra-pure water systems generally generate wastewater. Some users may consider this waste and take measures to block the discharge of wastewater or reduce the amount of sewage released. Such actions can directly cause the RO reverse osmosis membrane to lose its effectiveness, resulting in no water output. It is recommended to adjust the wastewater flow based on the local water quality and the recommendations of the ultra-pure water system manufacturer, and not to arbitrarily reduce the wastewater discharge volume.
