While using ultra-pure water equipment, we also need to learn to determine the cause of faults in a timely manner based on any abnormalities that occur. Because normal ultra-pure water treatment equipment produces very little noise or no noise at all when in use; while it does generate some slight vibrations and sounds during normal operation, soundproofing measures ensure that these noises are hardly audible from outside the equipment. 　　So, when there is a sudden increase in noise from the EDI ultra-pure water treatment equipment, the first thing to do is determine where the sound is coming from. 1. Noise coming from the pump: It is recommended that customers check the raw water to see if there is a blockage in the pre-treatment system or if the water pressure has become abnormal; if the pump is running under vacuum, the noise level will increase suddenly. 　　2. Noise from the solenoid valve: It may be caused by the valve not being able to close properly or by poor electrical contact.
