The overall progress of the Zhongsha Gulei ethylene project has reached 90.5%

It was recently reported that the overall progress of the Sino-Saudi Ghulai Ethylene Project, located in the Ghulai Development Zone, has reached 90.5%. The process equipment has been 89.8% completed, while the utility systems are 92.4% finished. The civil framework structure has been largely completed, and work has now shifted fully to stages such as steel structure installation, pipeline installation, and equipment installation. In the Zhongsha Gulei ethylene project, the packaging and warehouse unit for the polypropylene plant has been mechanically completed, and this unit has fully entered the production preparation phase ； The first power supply to the 35kV substation in the EPC general contracting project for the wastewater treatment system of the Gulei 1.5 million tons/year ethylene and downstream processing complex was successfully completed, providing a solid foundation for the subsequent commissioning and stable operation of the project. On November 20, Fujian Zhongsha Petrochemical Co., Ltd. held the seventh senior-level meeting for the Zhongsha Gulei Ethylene Project. This meeting fully recognized the achievements made by the project since the sixth high-level meeting, accurately analyzed the current status of the project, systematically identified the existing problems and challenges, and made unified arrangements for the key tasks before and after the Spring Festival.
