The technology used in industrial pure water systems depends on the quality of the raw water; if there is a lot of sediment, pre-treatment equipment is needed, if the hardness is high, softening equipment is required, and if the salt content is high, two-stage reverse osmosis technology should be employed. If an industrial pure water system that uses pure water as the source is chosen, only the required water quality and volume of water need to be provided. II. Determining water consumption The amount of industrial pure water that can be produced in the current market is determined based on the customer’s usage needs. When selecting equipment, it is necessary to inform the manufacturer of one’s actual water consumption; otherwise, if the specified capacity is too low, the consumables used in the industrial pure water production equipment will be used up quickly, while if the capacity is too high, it will result in waste. III. When selecting industrial ultra-pure water treatment equipment, it is necessary to consider what type of treatment process the manufacturer offers; the choice of treatment process reflects the technical capabilities of the water treatment equipment manufacturer. Where EDI equipment is available, try to avoid using multi-stage reverse osmosis technology for purifying water. IV. Material selection for industrial pure water equipment. At present, the core components of EDI ultra-pure water equipment are still mainly EDI products manufactured abroad. Although some domestic manufacturers also produce domestic EDI products, when compared in terms of overall technical parameters, foreign EDI products have a slight advantage.
