How many tons should be set for the ground scale?

The project is in trial operation, and it coincides with the rainy season when the river channel is closed. The coal, which was originally transported mainly by ship, could only be moved by road. According to the design, each vehicle was capable of carrying 36 tons; therefore, scales with a capacity of 40 tons were selected. When purchasing the equipment, the capacity was increased to 50 tons per vehicle. However, after just a few months, these scales stopped working altogether, as the vehicles were overloaded too much. For further technical upgrades, should we choose an 80-ton floor scale or a 100-ton floor scale? Please share your opinions and experience
The scale used in our unit is also known as a coal truck scale; initially it was capable of measuring up to 80 tons, but since many coal trucks weigh more than 80 tons, we changed it to one that can handle 100 tons.
It seems there’s a direction now; thanks for the help. Additionally, the municipal roads outside the factory were not designed for heavy traffic (the roads inside the factory are fine), and after a few months, they have become severely damaged due to constant use; it’s likely that the local residents will come and block the entrances soon.
