Calculation of water pipeline replacement volume

Assuming a length of 1,000 meters and a DN100 condensate pipe, with an iron ion content of 100 ppm; if this pipe is flushed using condensate with an iron ion content of 1 ppm until the iron ion concentration drops to 10 ppm, how many tons of such 1-ppm condensate are required? The calculation results take into account more than just the simple equivalence of total amounts and ion concentrations; in production, the actual amount used is always greater than the theoretical amount. Please discuss methods for calculating the actual amount used.
Personally, I think it’s better to first clean and coat the pipes.
