Questions regarding backup power supplies for fire protection

Dear teachers: The company currently has an 8-story office building, and it is planned to install a 400KW diesel generator set as a backup power source for fire protection purposes, as required. One thing that remains uncertain is whether, if the generator is installed in an outdoor environment rather than inside a building, it is possible to avoid constructing a concrete structure and instead use metal soundproof containers for its installation.
There’s no need to worry too much about it; if freeze protection isn’t a concern, simply building a soundproof enclosure outdoors should suffice for noise isolation. In other words, just run it for a while during normal testing. When a real fire breaks out, you don’t have time to worry about noises or anything like that: lol
