On the morning of April 30, the 100,000/700,000 tons per year EO/EG unit and the 600,000 tons per year styrene unit of the Gulei refining and chemical integration project were successfully handed over. Since their commissioning, the EO/EG units and styrene plant have, with the care and support of Guli Petrochemical, IPMT, the Quality Supervision Station, the supervision company, and other parties, seen close cooperation among Sinopec Shanghai Engineering Company and all the participating units. Through teamwork and scientific management, they overcame various challenging conditions such as heavy rainfall, high temperatures, and pandemic prevention measures. With everyone working together with a common goal, they were able to carry out the intermediate handover successfully while ensuring safety and quality, and at the same time achieved the goal of zero accidents in terms of safety and quality. Sha Yu, the general manager of the company and deputy secretary of the Party committee, said in his speech that this event represents an important milestone in the construction of the Gulei integrated project. He expressed his gratitude to all the employees of the project team as well as to all the units that have contributed to its success. Sinopec Shanghai Engineering Company will continue to uphold a strong team spirit and a diligent work ethic, adhering to the principle of \"putting customers first and creating value for them.\" It will, as always, strive to be at the forefront and strive for excellence in all its tasks, ensuring the successful operation of the facilities going forward, as a gift for the Party’s 100th anniversary. CITC is not an endpoint, but rather a new starting point for us. Shanghai Engineering will uphold a style of \"strictness, meticulousness, and practicality\", continue to rely on the guidance of Party building, work closely with all participating units, provide high-quality services to the Gulei project owners, and thoroughly carry out tasks such as eliminating remaining issues and conducting subsequent commissioning tests, to ensure the successful start-up of the facility. With each project completed, we aim to create a legacy that stands as a testament to our efforts. Source: Project QuickQuickQuick
