It is very important to control dust at construction sites; proper management can effectively prevent the environmental pollution caused by dust on site as well as the harm to workers’ health. There are many methods and measures for controlling dust, such as installing fixed spraying systems around walls to prevent dust from rising. How is dust control managed at your project site? Feel free to share your experience.

Installing a fixed sprinkler system on enclosures is quite useful for controlling dust in specific construction environments, such as linear projects in urban municipal construction, but it is less effective for chemical industry construction projects.
1) Carry out cleaning and watering tasks outside working hours. 2) Set up barriers or conduct enclosed operations for building demolition, sandblasting for rust removal, filling with dusty materials, cement mixing, and wood processing. 3) Wet methods shall be used for cutting cement floors, drilling holes in walls, and removing linings. 4) Bulk dust materials and dust waste should be covered during transportation. 5) Coal piles, ash piles, soil piles, and powder piles stored in the open should be covered or enclosed. Unless practical measures are taken, the following outdoor operations are prohibited in winds of force 4 or above: ——Building demolition ; ——Sandblasting for rust removal ; ——heat retention ; ——Filling with dust material ; ——Cement mixing ; ——Wood processing ; ——Other operations that are likely to cause significant dust generation.

There are other methods for controlling dust at the construction site, such as: 1. Setting up waste areas and eco-friendly trash bins at the construction site, to collect waste generated during construction separately from household and office waste, store it in designated areas, and remove it promptly; 2. 100% fencing of the anti-corrosion and prefabrication installation site ; 3. Paving of construction roads with bitumen and gravel ; 4. The burning of all types of waste is strictly prohibited ; 5. It is strictly prohibited to discard construction waste from heights ;
