Actually, we are in the steel structure manufacturing industry, but when people hear about it, their first impression is usually of steel structure buildings and the like; therefore, it would be more accurate to say that we deal with steel components for custom equipment. In terms of business model, we have little to do with design firms; we can only interact with project owners and general contractors. Based on the type of products, we are better suited to working with general contractors and equipment manufacturers. Conduct investigations in the areas surrounding some very large-scale projects (especially in the central and western regions, islands, etc.), establish steel structure prefabrication plants, and engage with project owners and the procurement departments of engineering companies (design institutes) to promote their capabilities in steel structure prefabrication (including pipe sections), particularly in welding and anti-corrosion coating. If possible, enhance the BIM design capabilities of steel structure factories and work in collaboration with design institutes to produce steel structure modules and pipe tunnel modules.

However, building factories on-site is extremely difficult and is also constrained by these two factors; welding relies primarily on the experience and skill level of welders, which constitutes the core competitiveness of component processing enterprises. Relying on temporarily hired technicians, even at high costs, does not necessarily yield satisfactory results. As for corrosion prevention, in addition to technical requirements, it is also subject to environmental protection policies; even if new painting workshops can receive relevant policy support, the cost will certainly be high. Modular research, development, and design indeed pose a great challenge to our factory. Due to the high requirements in terms of technology, in addition to proficiency in areas such as structure and welding, it is also necessary to have some understanding of the industry rules, standards, and equipment related to the chemical sector. Taking on subcontracted processing orders is actually quite simple; the main issues are price, delivery time, and payment terms. But I don’t think this is a healthy, positive pattern. Sustained investment, learning, improvement, and integration are necessary to achieve innovation and breakthroughs, as well as to bring value to light. All of this can only be approached by starting with market demand, with sales staff taking the lead; from my perspective, I increasingly feel overwhelmed and understand that there is no end to what needs to be learned.
