While on a trip, I came across a notice board outside a construction site that listed information regarding the rights of migrant workers to their wages. The notice stated that the construction company should pay the workers’ wages via bank card or in cash on the 20th of each month, and that the amount paid must not be lower than the local minimum wage standard.
New-type industrial workers (migrant workers) are a key force in China’s industrial transformation and high-quality development. Their investment and contributions in areas such as emerging industries, high-tech industries, and strategic emerging industries will provide strong support for the sustainable development of China’s economy.
It’s not impossible that such cases exist, but under the current circumstances, there are still many instances where salaries are not paid on time
This should have been handled in accordance with labor laws; why is a special arrangement needed?
