In early April 2024, after 23 consecutive hours of pouring, the beams, slabs, and columns on the first floor of the No. 1 acetic acid substation for Shenghong Refining & Chemical’s 1 million tons per year acetic acid production facility were poured in one go, marking significant progress in the construction of this substation as part of the project. On March 30, 2024, the raw material gas separation tank for Shenghong Refining and Chemicals’ 1 million tons per year acetic acid production project was successfully installed, marking the official start of equipment installation work on this under-construction project. This lays the foundation for the successful completion of the annual construction milestones and for the orderly progress of the project toward its completion date. It is understood that the raw gas liquid separation tank inside the facility weighs 12.2 tons, and a 100T truck crane together with a 25T truck crane were used for frequency adjustment and positioning. To carry out this lifting operation, the project team prepared a detailed lifting plan and made thorough preparations for lifting the raw gas liquid separation tank; they carefully considered issues such as the timing of the lift, the position of the cranes, and the sequence of lifting operations. They also organized safety and technical briefings for crane operators, lifting supervisors, as well as other personnel involved in construction, safety, quality control, and related tasks. This approach ensured strict control over the quality of the lifting and installation processes while minimizing construction risks. On March 30, 2024, good news came from Shenghong Refining & Chemical’s 1 million tons per year acetic acid production facility: the installation of the steel structure for the plant’s pipeline corridors has begun, marking the progression of the project into the installation phase. On March 26, 2024, the foundation for compressor 401A in Peng-2 of Shenghong Refining & Chemical’s 1 million tons per year acetic acid production project was successfully poured.
