EPC General Contract for 300,000 tons per year and half of semi-water-dihydrate wet-process phosphoric acid and related facilities signed 2024-06-06 Recently, China Five Rings Engineering Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of Sinochem, and Hubei Huiyang New Materials Co., Ltd. successfully signed the EPC general contract for the first phase of a new energy and new materials integration project, which involves the production of 300,000 tons per year and half of semi-water-dihydrate wet-process phosphoric acid along with related facilities. Han Fan, Assistant General Manager of Tongling Chemical Industry Group Co., Ltd. and Director of the Hubei Regional Management Center, and Dai Zongwen, Chief Accountant of China Wuhuan, attended the signing ceremony. The integrated new energy and new materials project of Hubei Huiyang New Materials Co., Ltd. has a total investment of around 10.5 billion yuan, covers an area of 1,800 mu, and is intended to build a production base for refined phosphoric acid. The project will be constructed in three phases. Upon completion, it will facilitate the horizontal coupling and coexistence of multiple products in the fields of phosphorus chemical industry and new energy materials, as well as the vertical expansion of the industrial chain. It will further develop the energy storage and battery markets, enable the high-value and diversified utilization of phosphorus resources, promote the transformation and upgrading of the traditional phosphorus chemical industry, and drive the high-quality development of new energy and new materials. At the same time, it is expected to generate annual sales revenue of 17 billion yuan, annual profits of 1.8 billion yuan, and annual tax revenues of 1 billion yuan, offering good economic and social benefits.
