This marks a new record set by the Yanchang Petroleum Refining and Chemicals Project Construction Command. The 8 storage tanks of this project include 4 tanks with a capacity of 100,000 cubic meters and 4 tanks with a capacity of 150,000 cubic meters. Since the construction of the first storage tank began, the project command office for the Yanchang Petroleum Refining and Chemical Complex has pursued a race against time with a sense of urgency that time waits for no one, pressing the \"accelerator\" on the project. They established a daily construction coordination meeting system, introduced strict reward and punishment mechanisms, and addressed issues that arose during construction in a timely manner ； By adopting innovative inspection methods, the original RT (radiographic) inspection technique was replaced with advanced TOFD (ultrasonic) and PA (phased array) inspection technologies, which are used during the welding of wall panels, thereby significantly improving construction efficiency. At the same time, strict control is exercised over key processes, and a \"test upon submission\" mechanism is adopted to enable 24/7 continuous shift work. During peak times, as many as 300 workers are on site, with 43 automatic welding machines operating simultaneously, creating a highly active atmosphere at the construction site. Located in the Yangshu Chemical Industry New Area of Luochuan County, Yan’an City, this project has a total investment of 2.102 billion yuan and covers an area of 604.2 mu. It is a key project undertaken by the Yanchang Petroleum Group to fulfill its oil reserve obligations, including the storage of imported crude oil, as well as to support an integrated refining and chemical processing capacity of 10 million tons. To date, the overall progress of the project is 60%, while the comprehensive progress of the floating platform construction is 38%. The target for completion is expected to be achieved in mid-September.
