Completion of mechanical installation at the comprehensive warehouse of the Fujian Zhongsha Ethylene project

The comprehensive warehouse for the Fujian Zhongsha Ethylene Project is entering the final stages of construction. On July 31, a ceremony was held to mark the completion of the mechanical work on this warehouse, which was constructed under the EPC contract by Sinopec Guangzhou Engineering Company. As a key project for capacity and investment cooperation between China and Saudi Arabia, as well as part of the third batch of special projects for attracting foreign investment, it represents an important effort to integrate the Belt and Road Initiative with Saudi Arabia’s 2030 Vision. The comprehensive warehouse complex comprises 13 buildings of types A, B, C, and D, with a total construction area of 22,248 square meters. Since construction began in September 2024, Guangzhou Engineering Company has made full use of the advantages of the EPC model by integrating resources across the entire process of design, procurement, and construction. Working together with all parties involved in the project, they have strived to overcome various challenges such as high temperatures and typhoons, ensuring that the project progresses efficiently and to a high standard. The project team will make every effort to complete the project, carry out acceptance and handover procedures, and assist with production preparations, thereby contributing to the early completion and operation of the Fujian Zhongsha Ethylene Project.
