On July 28, at the site of the major repair work in Unit 2 of Yulin Refinery, with the assistance of a 1,600-ton class giant crawler crane, a 20-ton heavy horizontal flue pipe at the top of the regenerator was smoothly lifted from a height of 48.6 meters and safely lowered to the ground, marking progress in this repair project. It is understood that the total weight of the regenerator cyclone and the head is approximately 335 tons, and replacing them is a top priority in Yulin Refinery’s entire overhaul project. To ensure the successful completion of this lifting task, the factory conducted a comprehensive analysis based on the specific conditions of the overhaul site, as well as the weight and height of the components, and thoroughly evaluated the lifting plan. At the same time, they conduct in-depth risk assessments and implement corresponding risk mitigation measures ； All lifting equipment is also thoroughly inspected to ensure that all preparations prior to lifting are completed properly. During the lifting process, the operators followed the operating procedures strictly, implemented rigorous on-site control measures, and carried out the lifting operations safely, accurately, and in an orderly manner, achieving a successful first lift.
