On August 15, the fire training and observation tower for the Hainan Commercial Storage Phase II project completed the erection of its main structure, marking a significant progress in the construction of this project and laying a solid foundation for subsequent work. The building is designed as a 13-story reinforced concrete frame structure, with a height of over 40 meters. Its axis runs east-west for more than 10 meters, and it is wide from north to south by over 20 meters; the total building area is more than 1,050 square meters. During the construction process, the project team overcame a series of technical challenges, including high-rise formwork projects with significant safety risks, intensive steel bar binding, and high-altitude lifting operations. By organizing expert seminars, implementing refined management, and strengthening quality control throughout the entire process, it was ensured that both the project quality and the construction progress advanced simultaneously. To address the risks associated with working at heights, the project team strictly implements a safety work permit system; all personnel engaged in such work undergo occupational health examinations, and a daily health monitoring mechanism is in place. On-site, dedicated safety officers are assigned to conduct continuous inspections, and comprehensive emergency supplies as well as heat relief facilities are provided to ensure the safety of construction operations in all aspects. The successful completion of the main structure this time creates favorable conditions for the timely completion of the project.
