On September 30, the mechanical completion ceremony and the launch ceremony for the \"three inspections and four determinations\" process were held at the construction site of the Huajin project, whose 2.5 million tons per year wax oil hydrocracking unit was under EPC general contracting by Global East China Company. This represents another important milestone for the Huajin project, following the successful mechanical completion of the three hydrogenation units; it signifies that the wax oil hydrocracking unit of the Huajin project has also achieved mechanical completion, thus entering a new phase of construction finalization involving the \"three inspections and four determinations\". The mechanical completion marks an important turning point in the construction of the wax oil hydrocracking unit for the Huajin project, indicating that the project has entered the final installation phase. The fine chemicals and raw materials production project of Huajin Aimei Petrochemical Co., Ltd. is a key project included in the **\"Petrochemical Industry Development Plan\" and the \"Opinions on Several Major Policy Measures by the State Council to Support the Revitalization of the Northeast\"**, and it is also a major project under China’s and Saudi Arabia’s Belt and Road Initiative. The total investment in the project is 83.7 billion yuan, with completion of the mechanical construction scheduled for 2025. The refining section of the project includes a total of 17 production units, such as atmospheric and vacuum distillation units, light hydrocarbon recovery units, high-propylene catalytic cracking units, gas separation units, carbon dioxide recovery units, product refining units, coal diesel hydrogenation units, wax oil hydrocracking units, diesel hydrocracking units, residue hydrogenation units, gasoline hydrogenation units, coker naphtha hydrogenation units, aromatic compound integration units, sulfur recovery units, acidic water stripping units, solvent regeneration units, and delayed coking units. The coal chemical section of the project involves the joint construction of two production units, including a coal-to-hydrogen complex and a sulfur recovery unit for coal-to-hydrogen production. The chemical production section of the project includes a total of 13 production units, such as an ethylene plant, an ethylene oxide/ethylene glycol plant, an ethylbenzene/styrene plant, 2 high-density polyethylene plants, a full-density polyethylene plant, 2 polypropylene plants, a hydrogen peroxide plant/propane oxide plant, a polyether polyol plant, a butadiene extraction plant, a cracked gasoline hydrogenation complex, and a C4 complex.
