Recently, the outdoor and indoor pipeline projects for the first phase of the olefins, aromatics, and advanced processing unit of Shaanxi Coal Group Yulin Chemical Co., Ltd.’s 15 million tons per year demonstration project for clean and efficient conversion of coal into various products, began construction. Centered on coal utilization technologies of different grades, the project achieves deep integration between coal chemical industry and petroleum chemical industry through two pathways: coal-to-olefins and coal-to-aromatics. It ultimately produces 45 products across 4 categories, including high-value-added materials, biodegradable materials, and battery electrolyte solvents. Once operational, the project will inject new momentum into the economic and social development of the Yulin region.
