[Haichuan Overseas Engineering] Installation of the first large-scale 80,000 cubic meter crude oil storage tank float completed for the Lobito refinery project in Angola

The installation of the first large-scale crude oil storage tank, a floating vessel with a capacity of 80,000 cubic meters, for the Lobito refinery project undertaken by Sanhua Jian has been completed. Recently, the installation of Tank A, the first such large-scale crude oil storage tank for the Lobito refinery project built by Sanhua Jian, was successfully finished. Located in Lobito City, Benguela Province, this project has an initial investment of 1 billion US dollars. It is the largest oil refining project in Angola and one of China National Chemical Corporation’s key projects in Africa. The successful completion of the installation of the floating vessel for Tank A has provided valuable, replicable and transferable experience in the installation of large-scale floating vessels for the subsequent construction of five more tanks.
