On October 28, the 110KV substation for the Jiangsu Jiasong LNG peak-shaving storage and distribution station project, which was constructed under the general contract of China Wuhuan Engineering Co., Ltd. affiliated to Sinochem, reached its structural completion as scheduled. The project has now entered the phase of secondary structure construction and preparation for equipment installation. The Jiangsu Jiasong LNG peak-shaving storage and distribution station is located in Jiangyin City, Jiangsu Province. It is planned to build two LNG storage tanks with a capacity of 100,000 cubic meters each, along with associated processing facilities; once completed, its annual LNG export capacity will reach millions of tons. The project utilizes the advanced storage tank technology developed by China’s leading company, Wuhuan Company, ensuring high reliability and thus providing a solid foundation for stable operation in the future. The completion of this project will effectively unlock the potential of the Yangtze River shoreline resources in Jiangyin, significantly enhance the region’s capacity for natural gas storage, peak shaving, and supply security, and provide strong impetus for the optimization and transformation of the energy structure.
