With the final steel structure module for the degassing chamber properly installed, the modular lifting work for the steel structure of the degassing chamber in the granulation plant of the Unipol polypropylene unit at the China Coal Yulin Deep Processing Base project, undertaken by the Inner Mongolia branch of China Chemical Engineering Third Construction Co., Ltd., has been successfully completed. This marks another key milestone in the project’s construction, laying a solid foundation for the rapid progress of subsequent work. As a core component of the granulation plant in the Unipol polypropylene facility, the degassing chamber requires high technical standards for its steel structural modular lifting, and its construction is quite challenging. The three modules of the degassing chamber’s steel structure, which were lifted this time, weigh 125 tons, 110 tons, and 88 tons respectively. They need to be installed on a concrete frame that is 50.45 meters high. Due to their large size, heavy weight, and complex structure, they pose extremely high challenges in terms of lifting techniques and on-site coordination. To ensure the safe and efficient completion of the lifting operations, the project team carried out thorough planning and careful organization. Professional technicians were tasked with repeatedly reviewing and optimizing the lifting plan, taking into account various factors such as the site conditions, equipment performance, and safety measures. All personnel involved in the lifting operations received detailed technical instructions and safety training, to ensure that every worker was familiar with the lifting procedures and safety regulations. During the lifting process, project managers provided on-site supervision throughout the operation; crane operators coordinated everything with precision; the crew followed instructions strictly; and safety supervisors kept a close eye on things to ensure that every step was carried out flawlessly. Through continuous efforts, we achieved excellent results with zero safety incidents, successfully completing this lifting task.
