Recently, the pouring of the foundation for the transportation corridor in the Kazakhstan European Chemical and Chemical Complex project, undertaken by the Xinjiang branch of 11th Construction Engineering Group, was successfully completed, laying the groundwork for the smooth progress of the installation work.
The Kazakhstan Chemical Complex project is located in Zhanatas City, Jiangbul Region, Kazakhstan. It was contracted out in its entirety by China National Chemical Corporation, with companies such as Tianchen Company, Erhua Jian, Liuhua Jian, and Shiyi Hua Jian participating in its construction. The main components of the project include an 800,000-ton/year sulfuric acid production facility, a 260,000-ton/year potassium sulfate production facility, a 200,000-ton/year calcium hydrogen phosphate production facility, and a 130,000-ton/year calcium chloride production facility. It represents a modern integrated production base that combines the manufacture of basic chemical raw materials with the production of high-value fertilizers. This project is an important component of Kazakhstan’s industrial development strategy. Once completed, it will help the country shift from focusing solely on resource extraction and export to engaging in the advanced processing of chemical products and the production of high-value-added goods, thereby facilitating the upgrading of its chemical industry. It will also create more than 2,400 new jobs, contributing significantly to the local economic and social development. At the same time, it will aid in the development of a local pool of professional technical experts, providing intellectual support for the sustainable development of Kazakhstan’s chemical industry.
