On October 27, the completion of the mechanical installation for three key auxiliary projects under the Gulei Aniline-Rubber Aditive Industry Chain Project, which were contracted through EPC by Sinopec Nanjing Engineering Company – namely the fire pump station, the water purification system for production use, and the foam station – marked the official transition of these auxiliary projects into the phase of mechanical completion and production preparation. This provides a crucial foundation for subsequent full-scale testing and commissioning of the facility
The Gulei aniline-rubber additive industrial chain project is a key industrial initiative promoted by Fujian Province and Sinopec. It involves the construction, within the Gulei petrochemical complex, of facilities for producing 300,000 tons per year of aniline and 86,000 tons per year of rubber additives, along with related auxiliary facilities; meanwhile, the MIBK project is also being advanced simultaneously. The project is expected to be fully completed and put into operation by 2026. Its products will find wide applications in areas such as MDI, dyes, pharmaceutical intermediates, gasoline additives, tires, and various rubber products, and it will play an important role in improving the regional petrochemical industry chain. The three main auxiliary projects that have been completed in this mechanical construction phase are the infrastructure necessary to ensure the operation of the entire plant. Among them, the fire pump station serves as the key power source and foundation for the plant’s fire safety system. Once in operation, it will be responsible for supplying production water, domestic water, and fire-fighting water to various facilities, as well as providing support for pressure testing of pipes and equipment testing across the plant. These facilities are also essential for enabling the 110KV substation to supply electricity to the entire plant, thus laying a solid foundation for the smooth progress of the entire project
