On November 19, the fractional distillation tower, the tallest piece of equipment in the plant area of the Hebei Guanyu project constructed by the Northeast Company, was successfully lifted into place. The project is located in the petrochemical industry zone of Gangcheng District, Bohai New Area, Cangzhou, Hebei. Since its commencement, the project team has been striving to achieve construction goals based on the principles of \"high standards, high quality, and high efficiency\". The distillation tower being lifted this time is a core and critical piece of equipment for the project; it is 61.6 meters tall, 6.4 meters in diameter, and weighs 274 tons. Its lifting poses significant challenges, requires high technical expertise, and involves considerable safety risks. To ensure the smooth progress of the lifting operations, the project team developed a specialized plan for \"pre-assembly on the ground.\" Tasks such as installing pipelines attached to the tower and setting up ladder platforms, which normally would have to be carried out at heights, were moved to be done on the ground. This reduced the amount of work that needed to be done at heights to 20% of the original plan, thereby effectively minimizing the safety risks associated with working at heights. The lifting operation employs a technique of \"single-machine lifting + tail-guiding alignment\". In the preliminary stage, comprehensive inspection and maintenance are carried out on key equipment such as the main crane and the tail-lifting crane; the work area is cleared and leveled, safety warning signs are properly installed, and specialized technical briefings and operational training are provided to the workers. With the coordinated efforts of all parties involved, the fractionation tower was accurately lifted into place; all technical parameters met the design requirements, and the lifting operation was completed successfully.
