The heavy-lift installation of the waste heat boiler for the CCP50 600-megawatt combined cycle power plant project in Singapore has been fully completed. Recently, the task of installing the waste heat boiler modules for this project, carried out by the Singapore branch of China National Chemical Engineering Corporation Third Construction Co., Ltd., was successfully finished, marking the full entry of the project into the boiler system installation phase. The lifting of the waste heat boiler modules this time involves 18 large modules, with the maximum weight of each module reaching 340 tons (including the lifting frame). The lifting operation adopts a construction plan involving two machines for lifting and three machines working in coordination. Each module must perform complex tasks in the air, such as flipping, moving around, removing the support frames, and passing precisely through the boiler framework, which demands high levels of command coordination, equipment synchronization, as well as strict control over safety and quality. Faced with challenges such as large module sizes, high installation precision, limited on-site space, frequent concurrent operations, and harsh working conditions, the project team carried out meticulous planning and organized the work scientifically. By adopting a \"day-and-night shift, continuous operation\" approach, and by strictly implementing technical safety briefings and full-process monitoring, they ensured that each module completed the entire process – from transportation and placement, to assembly and inspection of the lifting frame, lifting using two machines, disassembling the lifting frame in mid-air, lifting it into place, and finally completing the installation and passing the quality checks – within 24 hours. After 24 days of continuous effort, they achieved a successful lift with the required precision and under safe conditions, thereby securing valuable time for the subsequent construction of the boiler body, steel structure, pipelines, and electrical systems. This outcome fully demonstrated the exceptional capabilities and professional competence of the Sanhua Construction project team in carrying out large-scale energy project construction overseas.
