【Haichuan Chemical Construction Technology】Key points for inspection during stainless steel railing installation

I happen to have some experience with the installation of stainless steel railings in chemical plant areas, so I’d like to share a few practical inspection points for everyone’s reference: First, check the material certification – in chemical areas where corrosive substances are present, 316 stainless steel should be used; don’t opt for the cheaper 304 steel, as it tends to rust through over time； Pay special attention to the spacing between the vertical poles and the quality of the welds. The spacing between these poles should not exceed 11 centimeters; the welds must be full and free from defects such as weak welds or pores. Additionally, the surfaces should be polished smoothly to avoid any scratches ； The height of the handrails must comply with the regulations: it should be no less than 1.05 meters in indoor areas of the factory, and in outdoor areas it is necessary to check that the anti-corrosion coating has been applied evenly. Additionally, the acceptance of chemical plant construction must be carried out in accordance with industry standards; it is better to have a professional supervisor review it for extra assurance.
