What consequences will the odorant causing, entering the LNG cryogenic tank along with the raw natural gas, have?

Odorants will condense in the cold box, and if there is a large amount of them, it may cause blockages in pipelines, valves, etc. If the amount is small, just a trace amount, it won’t cause any major consequences. Current odorants generally use **thiophene**, which is stable in nature; however, the conditions required for producing thiophene through hydrogenation are quite stringent, resulting in high production costs at present. It’s added with domestic gas, but now since it’s transported through pipelines, it’s likely that it’s also added in some aspects of pipeline network management. As for the place the original poster is referring to, I think it’s the stage of high-pressure transmission or the stage of compression and liquefaction; I’m not sure why it’s added
Is this deodorant harmful to the body? After all, we use natural gas at home!

Odorants are added to prevent greater harm – leaks that could lead to more serious accidents. Of course, if you are highly sensitive to the toxicity of the odorants in natural gas and strongly refuse to use it, you can switch to electric cooking appliances or coal for cooking. However, using electricity, just like using coal, has its own harmful aspects, such as electric shock and carbon monoxide poisoning.
