In recent years, as air pollution and the pressure to address climate change have become increasingly severe, efforts to protect the environment have intensified. Thanks to various favorable policies such as the shift from coal to gas, the shift from oil to gas, the use of LNG in vehicles, adjustments to the value-added tax rate for natural gas, and reforms in the oil and gas sector, China’s natural gas consumption has entered a period of rapid growth. With the continuous improvement of policies and management standards for on-site LNG supply, taking into account the operating conditions of enterprises in the new normal as well as China’s pricing mechanisms for gas prices, on-site LNG supply, which has developed in recent years, serves as a complement to piped natural gas; it will thus be able to secure its place in this market and experience rapid growth as part of the development of the gas industry.
Competition only exists when there is a comparison; to break the monopoly of pipeline gas, it depends mainly on whether the local authorities **support such efforts** and whether they are open-minded.
