The question is not clear; what is the capacity of the large storage tank? What does the bottom surface refer to? Is it below the storage tank, or below the pump pool?
The submersible pump inside the tank is placed within the storage tank; it is inserted into the tank from the top, and pumping is carried out from the bottom of the tank；
(1) The pump enters the tank from the top of the tank via the pump well. During operation, the pump sits on the bottom valve baseplate, using its own weight to open the bottom valve. (2) Generally, the bottom valve of the pump well is about 0.25 m from the bottom of the tank. (3) After the bottom valve is opened, LNG enters the pump well, flowing in from below the pump.

Could you please explain it in more detail? Are the pump well and the foot valve originally connected? After the pump is lowered into the pump well, gravity is used to open the bottom valve, allowing LNG to enter the pump well. In other words, the bottom valve is not connected to the bottom of the LNG tank, but only to the pump well?

Does that mean that once the pump is installed, both the weight of the pump and that of the pump well are supported by the tank walls and the tank roof?
