If the nitrogen generator fails, liquid nitrogen needs to be vaporized to provide a supplementary supply – it functions as a backup to the nitrogen generator. Additionally, liquid nitrogen can also be used to pre-cool LNG tankers at room temperature before loading LNG~~
In the event of a power outage or equipment failure in the system, liquid nitrogen can be used to quickly increase the pressure in the nitrogen pipeline system or the instrument air system.
