Sinopec’s first natural gas pipeline pressure difference power generation project completed 2025-07-14 On July 14, according to Sinopec, the construction of the natural gas pressure difference power generation facility at the Qufu station on the Xuanning line in Shandong Province, operated by Sinopec’s Natural Gas Division, was recently finished. This project is Sinopec’s first completed pressure difference power generation project for natural gas transmission pipelines; it is capable of converting all the energy generated by the pressure difference between the South Main Pipeline in Shandong and the Xuanning Pipeline into electrical power, with an annual designed power generation capacity of 4 million kWh. 2025-07-14 14:26· On July 14, according to Sinopec, the construction of the natural gas pressure difference power generation facility at the Qufu station on the Xuaning Line of Sinopec’s Natural Gas Branch in Shandong was completed recently. This project is Sinopec’s first completed pressure difference power generation project for natural gas transmission pipelines; it is capable of converting all the energy generated by the pressure difference between the South Main Pipeline in Shandong and the Xuanning Pipeline into electrical power, with an annual designed power generation capacity of 4 million kWh.
