For LNG vaporization stations, the pressure regulation skids were originally configured as one in use and one as backup; now they are set up as one primary and one secondary. Is it required that the operating pressure of the primary circuit be higher than that of the secondary circuit, with the primary circuit being disconnected under certain conditions?
The airflow will definitely prefer to pass through the side with a higher pressure regulation, so the pressure regulation on the main path is certainly higher than that on the secondary path. As for the cut-off pressure, it is indeed lower on the main path than on the secondary path; otherwise, if the main path is cut off, the secondary path will also be cut off, and no airflow will be possible. The amount of pressure adjustment depends on your process requirements; there are no fixed rules. However, at any given time only one side should be supplied with air, unless there is insufficient air supply in which case two supply lines should be used.
