I’d like to ask everyone: what is the theoretical value in standard cubic meters of natural gas required to produce one ton of LNG?
The theoretical value for converting 1 ton of LNG into standard cubic meters of natural gas is approximately 1,380 standard cubic meters. This conversion is based on the density of LNG being approximately 0.45 to 0.51 tons per cubic meter, and the density of natural gas under standard conditions being approximately 0.717 kilograms per cubic meter. So, approximately one ton of LNG is equivalent to 1,380 standard cubic meters of natural gas. .
LNG density: 0.42–0.46 g/cm3. According to unit conversions, 1 cubic meter of LNG is equivalent to 0.426 tons. With a vaporization rate of 625 standard cubic meters per cubic meter of LNG, it can be calculated that the volume in standard cubic meters corresponding to 1 ton of liquefied natural gas is V = 1 cubic meter of LNG / 0.426 tons per cubic meter × 625 standard cubic meters per cubic meter = 1467 standard cubic meters! !
