Commencement of EG and LNG Co-production Project in Quwo, Shanxi / Source: China Chemical Industry News Date: 2018-09-12 Clicks: 7 Recently, the project for producing 300,000 tons per year of ethylene glycol from integrated waste gas, along with LNG, carried out by Shanxi Wonen Chemical Technology Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of Shanxi Liheng Steel Group, held its commencement ceremony. The project is located in the Quwo Ecological Industrial Park in Linfen City, Shanxi Province. With a total investment of around 3.99 billion yuan, its production capacity will be 300,000 tons per year of ethylene glycol and 156 million cubic meters per year of LNG. The construction scope includes gas purification units, H2/CO cryogenic separation units, DMO reaction units, ethylene glycol synthesis and distillation facilities, storage and transportation systems, as well as utility systems and auxiliary facilities.
