This material exhibits good low-temperature toughness in environments ranging from -60°C to -170°C. 06ni9DR (9% nickel) is used in above-ground and floating LNG storage tanks, cryogenic vessels, and cryogenic transmission pipelines; the material exhibits good low-temperature impact resistance at -170°C. 07Ni5DR (5% nickel) is used in the manufacture of ethylene transport and storage tanks, and the material exhibits good low-temperature impact resistance at -110°C. 08Ni3DR (3.5% nickel) is used in the manufacture of compressors, containers for nuclear wastewater, and storage tanks for coal-to-oil reactors; its products exhibit good low-temperature impact resistance at -101°C.
