On July 7, the contract signing ceremony for the general contracting of Jingbian’s annual 200,000-ton LNG production project carried out by Shaanxi Jiutai Wendee Energy Technology Co., Ltd. (abbreviated as Jiutai Wendee Energy) was held grandly at Yulin High-Tech Energy Research Institute Engineering Technology Co., Ltd., which is affiliated with Beijing Petrochemical Engineering Co., Ltd. (abbreviated as Beiyou Engineering). Liu Ge, deputy general manager of Beiyou Engineering, representatives from the project owner, and relevant personnel from Yulin High-Tech Energy Research Institute attended this signing ceremony. The signing of the general contract for Jingbian’s project to produce 200,000 tons of LNG per year marks the official launch of the project, with the cooperation between the two parties now commencing in full force. It will enlist the best project management teams and skilled professionals to oversee the project, ensuring precise control over key aspects such as construction costs, schedule, quality, and safety. It is reported that this project is carried out by a consortium formed by Beiyou Engineering and Yulin High-Tech Energy Research Institute, with the construction site located in the Energy and Chemical Comprehensive Utilization Industrial Park in Jingbian County. The project utilizes the hybrid refrigeration natural gas liquefaction technology, for which Beiyou Engineering holds independent intellectual property rights. The construction scope mainly includes process units and auxiliary facilities. To date, Beiyou Engineering has completed and is constructing a total of 17 LNG plants, with an overall production capacity of 1.99 million tons per year. The signing of this project further solidifies Beiyou Engineering’s leading position in the LNG industry.
