Fujian LNG Company has received over 700 shipments of imported LNG

On November 20, the Greek-owned liquefied natural gas (LNG) carrier Achilles completed the unloading of nearly 70,000 tons of imported LNG at the Putian receiving station of China Sea Fujian Natural Gas Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as Fujian LNG), marking that the total number of shipments of imported LNG received by Fujian LNG since its operation has exceeded 700. 　　The LNG supply received in Fujian mainly comes from the Donggu project in Indonesia; at the same time, it also receives LNG from 13 countries and regions along the Belt and Road Initiative, including Yemen and Malaysia. Since receiving the first shipment of LNG in April 2008, Fujian LNG has unloaded a total of 43 million tons of imported LNG, equivalent to approximately 61.8 billion cubic meters of natural gas. 　　It is reported that as autumn and winter arrive, Fujian Province experiences a slight increase in demand for natural gas for household use. In preparation for this, Fujian LNG took proactive measures by establishing a leadership team tasked with ensuring a stable supply of natural gas throughout this winter and next spring, and formulating specific plans to meet the increased demand during this period. They have also established \"green channels\" and convenient night-time booking services, implemented a 24-hour port inspection system and zero-wait policies to improve the efficiency of LNG ship clearance at the port. By maintaining high liquid levels in the 6 LNG storage tanks with a capacity of 160,000 cubic meters each, they have laid a solid foundation for ensuring supply during winter.
