According to **Pipelines Group, the West-to-East Gas Transmission pipeline system (including Lines 1, 2, and 3) has delivered a total of over 500 billion cubic meters of natural gas to the Yangtze River Delta region. Currently, the West-to-East Gas Pipeline passes through 30 cities in the Yangtze River Delta region, supplying about three-quarters of the total natural gas consumption in this area. Over 200 million people benefit from it, which continues to provide a \"green driving force\" for the high-quality development and integration of the Yangtze River Delta. It is reported that the West-to-East Gas Pipeline System has delivered a total of over 500 billion cubic meters of natural gas to the Yangtze River Delta region. This amount is equivalent to 645 million tons of standard coal replaced, and it helps to reduce emissions of 12.72 million tons of sulfur dioxide, 362 million tons of dust, and 731 million tons of carbon dioxide – an amount equivalent to planting 2.2 billion hectares of broadleaf forests. In recent years, **the pipeline network group has accelerated the interconnection of pipelines, facilitating connections between the West-to-East Gas Transmission pipeline system and other pipelines such as those in the Yangtze River Delta region, as well as the China-Russia East Line and Jiangsu-Anhui pipelines. By linking these pipelines together, a comprehensive gas supply network has been created, enabling a supply pattern characterized by gas transported from the west to the east, from Russia to the south, from the south to the north, from Sichuan to the east, as well as gas imported via sea routes; this setup allows for flexible allocation of gas resources to ensure overall supply security. The role of the natural gas pipeline network in the Yangtze River Delta region as a core hub for energy supply within the \"national unified network\" has become even more prominent. By the end of 2023, **Pipeline Group was responsible for the management and operation of 104,300 kilometers of national main oil and gas pipelines, of which 12,000 kilometers were located in the Yangtze River Delta region.
