At 9:46 on August 3, the 800,000-ton light hydrocarbon recovery unit of China National Petroleum Corporation’s Liaohe Oilfield Oil and Gas Transportation Company was successfully started up for the first time, marking the complete completion of the annual maintenance work – the task was finished 3 days ahead of schedule. On August 4, qualified products were successfully produced, with all parameter values reaching optimal levels; the entire system operated smoothly. The regular maintenance of the 800,000-ton light hydrocarbon recovery unit is like a comprehensive \"health check-up\" – it is not only a task for maintaining and inspecting the equipment, but also a significant test of technical skills and management capabilities. To this end, the oilfield company attaches great importance to this maintenance work. Qi Zhenlin, the executive director and party secretary, carried out inspections following the \"four no’s and two directs\" approach during the maintenance period. Wang Xiyou, the general manager, went to the light hydrocarbon plant ahead of the maintenance work to give important instructions, while the relevant supervisors kept track of the progress of the maintenance and coordinated the resolution of any issues that arose. Departments such as the Oilfield Infrastructure Engineering Department, Production and Operation Department, Quality, Health, Safety, and Environment Protection Department, and Materials and Equipment Department, along with units like the Safety and Environmental Protection Technology Supervision Center and the Oil and Gas Transportation Company, carried out systematic planning, advanced work in a scientific manner, and conducted thorough evaluations. By leveraging digital technologies for maintenance activities, they optimized the allocation of maintenance resources promptly, strictly adhered to all construction requirements, and made every effort to ensure the safe and efficient completion of plant maintenance tasks. Focusing on aspects such as regular maintenance of core equipment, inspection and testing of instruments, calibration of pressure vessels, elimination of potential risks, and improvement of production efficiency, the oil and gas gathering and transportation company conducted systematic planning, advanced its efforts in a scientific manner, and carried out thorough evaluations. It identified 18 maintenance projects across three categories: equipment, process safety, and electrical instrumentation. The company explored a maintenance model that emphasizes comprehensive planning from the design stage, joint efforts to ensure both speed and quality, and integrated supervision of safety and environmental protection. By leveraging digital technologies, it optimized the allocation of resources for maintenance tasks, strictly adhered to all construction requirements, and made every effort to enhance the safety and efficiency of plant maintenance operations.
