Must laboratory gas cylinders be placed outside the laboratory, in a separate room?

There is no separate room built for storing gas cylinders outside our laboratory; could we set aside a space within the laboratory and store the gas cylinders in flammable and explosive cabinets?
It seems that the gases used for testing are all inert gases; gases like nitrogen and argon require a separate facility, as they are asphyxiant gases, and any leakage from their cylinders in a laboratory would be very dangerous.
If the amount is large, use a separate room; if it’s small, there’s no need for that!
It should be placed separately, in a small house, with copper pipes led to the laboratory. . .
I’ve seen that indoor use requires specialized cabinets, and the cost is likely much higher than that of a simple outdoor gas cylinder room.
That will work; using a cabinet is also fine
