Such seemingly pedantic questions may be a bit difficult for us who have been away from school for many years; after some study, it’s roughly as follows: Accuracy: refers to the degree of consistency between the measurement result and the true value of what is being measured. Accuracy: Indicates the degree of systematic error in the measurement results. Precision is the degree of consistency among the readings or measured values obtained from repeated measurements of the same or similar test objects under specified conditions. For practical needs, accuracy is probably the most important thing. To ensure accuracy, correctness and precision are required. ;P
