Hello, experts! I have been working as an instrument technician for 12 years; now there is a shortage of people for analytical instruments, so my manager assigned me to work on them! How can one learn to use analytical instruments well? What books should be read or are there any recommendations? Where to start? I'm so confused.

It is best to have a basic knowledge of analytical chemistry, as well as some knowledge of instrument analysis. Most importantly, one needs to possess the conceptual framework of materialist dialectics in order to analyze and consider issues objectively and comprehensively, and to understand the situation on site. Online analytical instruments are more complex than ordinary field instruments, and the workload associated with their daily operation and maintenance is also greater. It is difficult to perform this type of work well without proper professional knowledge and a strong sense of responsibility.
