Can you do analysis? I don’t have any instruments, but I can provide a small amount of sample gas (40–50 grams) in order to determine the concentration of the main components in the gas. For example, I know that the bottle contains germanium tetrafluoride, but I’m not sure whether its purity is 98% or 99%.

Content analysis can be carried out through chemical methods: the fluoride content is absorbed using appropriate solvents, and then quantified using ICP-MS; the main component concentration is calculated based on elemental conservation. For gas quality testing, instruments such as chromatographs and dew point meters are generally used to detect the peaks of impurities, and the concentration of those impurities is determined using reference gases, while purity is calculated via subtraction methods. A clean sampling gas cylinder is required to connect to the instrument for analysis; 2 instruments are needed, with a cost of around 600,000. A sample weight of 40–50 g is likely not sufficient
