Hello, Sea Friends. Over the many years of development in industrial automation, both the hardware and software of control systems have become quite comprehensive. However, with the advancement of advanced control and optimized operations, there have been demands for on-site instruments to become smarter and networked, and such applications have emerged in some areas; management software such as AMS and Fieldmatet has come into use. For online analytical instruments, in many petrochemical projects I am aware of, online chromatographs already have a similar operation and management network, such as the online chromatograph bus management networks from ABB and Yokogawa, which can even be used to transmit and manage the signals and status of other online analytical instruments. For the process industry, many online analyzers used for industrial water and industrial water treatment – could their detection data and instrument status management systems also be made available to users in a similar manner? Given the current trend toward industrial automation and development, online water quality analyzers are also widely used, such as in chemical water treatment within factories, including for boiler feedwater and condensate recovery ; Such as circulating water monitoring and treatment, including monitoring of the water’s operating conditions, chemical dosing, corrosion and scale prevention, etc ; Another aspect is wastewater treatment, as well as the testing of water used and water discharged in various systems ; Another aspect is the process operations and applications of reclaimed water reuse and zero discharge. These online water quality analyzers may account for nearly half of all the online analyzers in a plant. Is there any manufacturer that can provide management software similar to LIMS or AMS to enable efficient and reliable management of these online water quality analyzers, in terms of managing their data and status? I hope everyone will share their opinions widely. Thank you!
May I ask which manufacturer produces this kind of system you mentioned, and what type of analyzer is it used for?
