I. Application areas: It is suitable for testing lubricants and for pharmaceutical research and development control, and it fully meets international and domestic standards such as GB265, ISO1628, ASTMD4603, JJG 155-2016, ISO307, ASTMD789, and pharmacopoeias. II. Product Description (I) The CT series of high-precision constant-temperature baths require a constant temperature environment in order to ensure accurate and high-precision viscosity measurement! The temperature of the bathtub remains constant, with even temperature distribution throughout the entire bathtub. Its unique design ensures that the temperature uniformity across the bathtub is above ±0.01°C, providing a very stable environment for viscosity experiments. 1 The bathtub is designed using the dual-chamber principle along with a unique circulation system: it features a mixing chamber and a measurement chamber, the liquid level in the measurement chamber remaining constant despite the evaporation of the bath solution. The partition between the two chambers can be removed easily for routine cleaning and maintenance, and a drain valve is installed at the bottom to facilitate cleaning. 2 The thermostat is an original imported model, offering high-precision temperature control as well as adaptive PID adjustment capabilities. 3 Safety: In addition to having a low water level alarm function and high-temperature cut-off protection, it is equipped with an air leakage protection switch to ensure safety during use. 4 Transparent windows and lighting design allow direct observation of the inside of the bathtub as well as the testing process ; It should be noted that when the temperature is below 20°C, dew formation on the window glass can affect visual observation. 5 The inner tank is designed with stainless steel to maximize its service life. 6 multi-station design, capable of supporting automatic or manual testing at 1–6 test stations. 7 Main technical parameters: Model, Temperature stability accuracy, Temperature uniformity, Heating power, Operating temperature, Dimensions in CM. IDS-2: ≤±0.01℃, ≤±0.01℃, 1000W, Operating temperature: R~120℃, Dimensions: Length 65X Width 28X Height 56. IDS-4: ≤±0.01℃, ≤±0.01℃, 1200W, Operating temperature: R~120℃, Dimensions: Length 85X Width 28X Height 56. IDS-6: ≤±0.01℃, ≤±0.01℃, 1200W, Operating temperature: R~120℃, Dimensions: Length 102X Width 28X Height 56. (II) GB265 Viscosity measuring station 1: Microprocessor for controlling the rise and free fall of the liquid in the viscosity tube, as well as for automatically and intelligently detecting the time it takes for the liquid to flow through ; 2 It uses photoelectric infrared sensors, which can automatically adjust the appropriate light intensity based on the color depth of the solution being measured, thereby meeting the needs of samples with different color intensities ; Meanwhile, the sensor features a stainless steel outer casing made of glass fiber, offering corrosion resistance, temperature tolerance, and a long service life ; 3 The inlet valve and PPS valve seat have the ability to resist strong acids and strong bases. 4 Each testing station is independent of the others; different or the same testing methods can be used to test different or the same samples. 5 Precise positioning is designed and manufactured, enabling the measurement distance to be accurate to 40 mm as specified by ISO, thus ensuring the standardization of the data. 6 Applicable viscosity tubes: Zhenyue GB265 standard viscosity tubes. 7 Unique defoaming technology to effectively control foaming in the liquid being measured. 8 Sample improvement method: Pressure method (can be customized based on the customer’s own samples). 9 Technical parameters: Measurement time range: 0.001–999.999 s; Viscosity range: 0.3–5000 mm²/s; Time display resolution: 0.001 s; Timing accuracy: 0.001 s or 0.1% of the measured value. Dimensions (L*W*H): 115×90×480 mm. Testing error using the capillary method: 3‰. (III) The IDS main controller serves as the data transmission module for the automatic viscosity testing system. It acts as a relay station that transmits data from each individual measuring station to a PC. The control unit can be connected to multiple measuring stations. (IV) Viscosity measurement software 1 can calculate and display the following results: a) the average value of the time for a single passage and multiple passages; b) the comparison deviation method: standard/absolute/percentage deviation; c) the single-point method: kinematic viscosity, dynamic viscosity, relative viscosity, specific viscosity (viscosity number), intrinsic viscosity (limiting viscosity), and average molecular weight based on viscosity; d) extrapolation using multiple points; e) the K value according to Fickentscher; f) various internationally accepted viscosity formulas are available for selection; g) single-point methods (Züssler-Brashke equation, Hagenes equation, Solomon-Huhtala equation, Billmeyer equation, Maron equation, Martin equation). 2 The software can utilize EXE files for simulation and verify the results. 3 The software is compatible with Win7, Win8, and newer operating systems. 4 Permission management function: Operators must use the software with their own account and password, and access to the system is restricted based on the level of authorization they possess. 5 Measurement result storage and printing function: All recorded measurement results from each day are saved in chronological order or by measurement location, allowing the result reports to be viewed or printed at any time. 6. Based on the set values for standard/absolute/percentage deviation, the measured results are automatically calculated during the measurement process. If these results exceed the specified deviation values, the software has an automatic re-measurement function. (V) Cleaning module (optional module): 1 Each set of cleaning modules can be connected to two testing stations. 2 And two types of cleaning solutions can be configured. 3 The cleaning method involves automatically adding cleaning solution, followed by allowing the liquid to flow up and down inside the viscosity tube for cleaning. 4 It is equipped with a built-in recovery pumping system that can draw out the liquid from the viscosity tube and collect it centrally. 5 When in use, it can be installed on the sink; it has a small size and does not take up much space, etc. 1084
