1 Sample name: It should be possible to accurately identify the name of the test sample; this name must be either that specified in the client’s request form, or a name that can accurately describe the sample after the laboratory has examined it and consulted with the client. 2 Model specification: The record should indicate the model of the sample, which must be the model of the actual sample tested; this model should be included in the model specified in the customer’s request form. The record should specify the product specification information related to the testing items. 3 Number of samples, sample numbers: Sample numbers must be unique in order to facilitate the handling and storage management of samples within the laboratory. The number of samples should correspond to the sample numbers. 4 Sample submitting entity (client): The entity that submits the sample can be an individual or an organization. 5 Initial condition of the sample: If the initial condition of the sample may affect subsequent testing or evaluations, and if adjustments are made to its initial condition before the test begins, the initial condition of the sample as well as the adjustments made to it should be recorded in the original records. 6 Sample accessories: When the laboratory conducts electrical tests using support equipment or accessories provided by the customer to maintain the sample in working condition, such equipment or accessories must be verified to ensure that their electrical parameters do not affect the accuracy of the sample test results. If it could have an impact, the important information of these devices or accessories (such as name, model, serial number, etc.) should be recorded.
